MailJet Integration

Use the MailJet integration to let Dawn work with your workspace-owned MailJet account for contact lists, templates, governed sends, and campaign operations.

Before you start

• A MailJet API key and secret for the account Dawn should operate.
• A verified sender address in MailJet.
• The MailJet account region: global or US.
• A clear decision about which capability scopes agents should use: contact lists, templates, campaigns, or all three.

MailJet is a workspace-owned integration. Connect the shared MailJet account once, then link the capability scopes that agents are allowed to use.

Create the MailJet credentials

1. Open your MailJet account settings and create or reuse an API key.
2. Copy the API key and secret. Dawn expects the raw values.
3. Confirm the sender address you plan to use is verified in MailJet.
4. If you use the US MailJet environment, make sure you select the US API host when connecting.

Connect MailJet in Dawn

1. Open Integrations in Dawn and click Add connection.
2. Choose MailJet.
3. Enter the API key and secret.
4. Enter the verified From email and optional From name.
5. Leave the API URL as the default unless your account uses the US region.
6. Click Connect.

Link MailJet source scopes

MailJet source linking is scope-based. You do not need to link each individual template or campaign.

• Contact lists: lets assigned agents search contacts and manage contact membership.
• Templates: lets assigned agents search, create, and update templates, and send templated emails when write tools are enabled.
• Campaigns: lets assigned agents search, create, update, test-send, send, and schedule campaigns when write tools are enabled.

After linking the scopes, assign them to the agent profiles that should use MailJet.

What Dawn can do

• Search MailJet contacts and contact lists.
• Add or update contacts and list membership.
• Search, create, and update email templates.
• Send templated transactional emails from the configured verified sender.
• Search campaigns and manage campaign drafts.
• Send test campaigns and send or schedule approved campaigns.

Contact changes, template changes, campaign changes, and sends are external side effects. The agent must have integration write tools enabled before Dawn exposes those operations.

What Dawn does not copy from MailJet

Dawn does not replicate MailJet analytics, delivery dashboards, bounce/open/click reporting, or provider audit history. Use MailJet for delivery observability and campaign reporting.

Troubleshooting

• Connection fails: the API key or secret is wrong, the selected API host does not match your region, or the sender address is not verified.
• Tools are missing: confirm the relevant MailJet source scope is linked and assigned to the active agent profile.
• The agent can search but cannot change or send: enable integration write tools for the agent profile.
• A send fails: confirm the From address is verified, the template or campaign exists in MailJet, and the recipient or audience is valid for that MailJet account.
