What This Command Does

Transcribe an attached or referenced audio/video file into a downloadable transcript.

This is a shipped Dawn Prompt Command. It starts a normal agent run with stored instructions attached, so the selected agent still controls available tools, memory, skills, and connected sources.

Syntax

/transcribe <attach or reference audio/video; optional language or formatting notes>

Arguments

Use the text after /transcribe as: attach or reference audio/video; optional language or formatting notes.

Execution

  • Default mode: background
  • Preferred provider: selected agent provider
  • Preferred model: selected agent model
  • Tags: audio, video, transcription, transcript

Background commands create background work where the surface supports it. Foreground commands run in the active conversation path.
