What This Command Does

Draft user-facing release notes from merged PRs, tickets, and connected project context.

This is a shipped Dawn Prompt Command. It starts a normal agent run with stored instructions attached, so the selected agent still controls available tools, memory, skills, and connected sources.

Syntax

/release-notes <release range, milestone, date window, PRs, or tickets>

Arguments

Use the text after /release-notes as: release range, milestone, date window, PRs, or tickets.

Execution

  • Default mode: background
  • Preferred provider: selected agent provider
  • Preferred model: selected agent model
  • Tags: release, changelog, summary

Background commands create background work where the surface supports it. Foreground commands run in the active conversation path.
